Opening of the Sudanese Community Centre at Parker Street 27th August 2023

It was fantastic to see over 100 people gathered for the event and meet so many inspiring people from our local Sudanese community. On behalf of PCOS Dawn (our chair ) extended a very warm welcome to sanctuary seekers from Sudan and urged them to both visit our website and become actively involved in Preston City of Sanctuary. Dr Hamid Hussain (Chair) spoke very positively about PCOS and went on to invite me to cut the ribbon to the centre and cut the cake.
