Refugee Week, June 17th-24th

At the Preston Mela we had many useful and encouraging conversations with members of the public:

The conference on Thursday 22nd organised by LCC Refugee integration Team was a great success and we were delighted to see so many people who have resettled in Lancashire, the vast majority women, taking a leading part.  Included the launch of this film https://fb.watch/lrHi0SaKL5/  The US is a film about all of us when circumstances lead us to leave our country because it is not safe, and we must find the bright side in every experience. Well done everyone involved in this movie, great efforts.

On Saturday 24th our Family Day at The Plungington Centre brought together lots of sanctuary seekers and their families with orgnaisations serving our community.
