Please think hard when emergencies involving refugees are in the news, before organising collections of stuff (clothes, toys, food etc.) and make sure that items are really needed and that you have a plausible way of getting material to where it is needed. Preston City of Sanctuary does not normally organize collections of material items and cannot help distribute things to sanctuary seekers, especially overseas.

Refugees and asylum seekers in Preston and beyond are supported by a wide range of organisations. However, every organisation and activity relies on volunteers and charitable donations.
